Ahoy There . . . . .

12 children from IC BS were treated to a ship experience when we visited Logos Hope floating book fair. We were first brief at the boat deck and then proceed to the book area.  There are many selection of the books to browse through and the children were having fun checking books and other memorabilia there. As we were told that all the book are in unit, 100 unit = RM8, everytime the children pick up any book they are busy converting it in RM. Well here it is our maths lessons that day. :) With some funds given, the children manage to get some books to bring home. Thank you to all the donors. :) After that which we proceed to the cashier and then to the story telling. They are huge pictures and the crew explain to us the story of making choices. The children were very attentive listening to it. :) By the end of your journey the children we treated to a simple magic show by Alex, one of the crew which happen to be from Penang. They were very delighted to be able to play and participated in the magic tricks. After that which we make our way back to IC church and the children were served tea and popcorn from the ship. It was a memorable experience for them. To actually be in the ship........ Thank you God for the day, even though it was raining, all in all we still  have a good day. Amen

Cut, Paste, Glitters

With materials as little as brown paper, calendar, glitters, ribbons, glue and scissor our students has come out with interesting birthday card. mmmm.... very creative lots we have. School holiday round the corner, it is time to put some creative thinking into the children, and this is what have they came out with. Very nice, indeed.. any buyer? :)

Amazing to see how children creative takes place.  Anything and everything can be their source of creation. BS thanks God for the gift of every child in the centre  and we ask the Lord to bless them and be with them all through their lives. Amen

Happy Birthday Malaysia

Happy 54th Birthday Malaysia. :) In that spirit BS' students color our flag. Neat and nice eh. :) BS loves Malaysia no doubt and we want our students to love this land also. The land that has provided for us. We need to take care and make it a just country. Merdeka will be meaningful to everyone. Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka! We lift it up to the Lord to bless and protect our country. Amen
